What we keep, and why

Who we are

ooor is [to confirm: the legal entity, its registered address and country]. Write to contact@ooor.us about anything on this page — the address goes to the four of us, not to a department.

What this site does on its own

• It is served by Vercel, which keeps the server logs any host keeps: the address your connection comes from, the page you asked for, the browser you asked with, and when. Vercel keeps those for its own operation. We do not use them to identify you.
• It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Nobody is counting you.
• If you close the small cookie note, it remembers that — one word in your browser’s local storage, under this domain only — so it does not show it again. That is not a consent record; it is the note staying closed. Clearing the site’s data brings it back.
• The fonts, the footage and the images come from this domain. Nothing is loaded from Google, a content network or a social network. The one outbound link, to X, is a link — it loads nothing until you follow it.
• It remembers one thing while you move between its pages: where you were, so that the way back lands where you left. That note lives in your browser’s session storage, under this domain only, and is gone when the tab closes. It never leaves your browser.

Talk to us

The “talk to us” room is ÖRG, our own workspace, served on this domain under /talk. Nothing happens until you click into it. Once you do, it may set a cookie to keep your conversation together, and what you write there — and any name or address you give — is stored so that we can answer you. [to confirm: which cookies it sets and for how long; where the conversation is stored and by whom; whether anything you write is sent to a third party to draft a reply; how long we keep it]

Email

If you write to us, we keep the exchange for as long as it is useful to answer you and to remember what was agreed [to confirm: how long]. If you write about a job, we keep what you sent until the conversation is over and delete it if you ask. We do not keep a file of people who once asked.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted — write to the address above and one of us answers, not a form. If you are in the EU or the UK you can also complain to your data protection authority [to confirm: the authority for the entity’s country].

Changes

If this page changes, the date below changes with it.
